Cinevale Film was founded by Valentina Chamorro Westergårdh who is director, screenwriter and producer. She was one of the founders of the film collective and production company Tjockishjärta Film (2008-2016), where she worked as a producer, writer and director. Valentina has worked with organisations as RFSL, RFSU, forum SKILL, Fanzingo, Fatta man, Botkyrka Community Teater, Män för Jämställdhet, UR, Rädda Barnen and UMO.

Valentina’s short films have been shown and competed in several international film festivals such as Festival del Film Locarno, Gothenburg Film Festival, Outfest, Melbourne Queer Film Festival, Tel Aviv Fest, Stockholm film festival and Uppsala short film festival, etc. Valentina is engaged in the non-profit organization WIFT (Women in Film and Television) Sweden since 2016 and is president since March 2017.
